White Dragon, Dragon Horse, White Lion at Yomeimon Gate
Now, the famous Yomeimon Gate, called the "Gate of Higurashi," which one could look at for a day and never get tired of seeing.

Lions are also two different types open-mouth and closed-mouth.
Maybe it looks weird because of the hardware over the fangs and claws.
This and others are not good. Maybe it's the poor eye coloring.
It can only be seen from a distance, looking up from below, so perhaps they didn't use very skilled carving carpenters for this part of the building.
