Flying dragons in the Omizusha (purification fountain )

The Omizusha is located behind the front gate on the left hand side. There is a water dragon (a dragon with fins like wings) here.
Water dragons ...... are easy to understand this because they protect the water house.
Another explanation is that this is a "flying dragon" and since it breathes fire from its mouth, its body is hot and needs a lot of water to cool it down => reverse wave pattern underneath => guardian of water => to the water house .......
Some people say that flying dragons and water dragons are the same thing, and there are still many theories about the once imaginary beasts.

Korean bell elephant

Passing through the torii (gate) after passing the water shed, you will see the Joseon bell on your right. Like the three pieces of furniture in the Okuno-in Treasure Pagoda, it was dedicated by a Korean envoy from Korea. On the roof of the belfry from which the bell hangs are elephants with wooden noses.

Maybe it is an elephant, but the ears are small. It is impressive that it is looking down.
